Hi, I’m Emily Beal, a 24 year old small business owner who’s passionate about sharing her experience with social media and mental health.
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in December, 2023 and started my marketing business in February, 2024. What started as helping other local business owners with their social media quickly grew into much more: learning how to start and grow newsletters, how to write blog posts, how to create sustainable marketing strategies that don’t involve dancing on Tiktok. I was hooked.
At the same time, I was struggling with my own mental health and the stress that comes with being chronically online. I felt the tug to leave social media, but I didn’t think it was possible for a small business owner like me. And then one day, I decided that was it. (And my business didn’t fold)
I now teach other business owners and industry leaders how to create sustainable marketing strategies without social media. I do this through my newsletter and blog.
